About The Rivya Partnership
Exceptional organisations are built through exceptional people.
The Rivya Partnership is a strategic talent advisory and executive search consultancy. We help organisations make better people decisions.
Why The Rivya Partnership exists
The Rivya Partnership was founded on a straightforward observation. Organisations rarely have a hiring problem. They have a business question that has not yet been translated into a people decision.
Traditional recruitment begins with a role and a list of candidates. We begin with the objective, the market and the risk, then advise on what should happen next. Sometimes that is a search. Sometimes it is a change in structure, a development decision, or the conclusion that the appointment can wait.
We built the company as a partnership because that is how the work behaves. The value of a people decision appears over years, and so should the relationship that shaped it.
The name
A chosen name for a considered way of working.
The Rivya Partnership takes its name from the founder’s daughter, Rivya, a name meaning “the chosen one.” It is personal, and it also carries the idea at the heart of the business: the right people change what an organisation is capable of.
Being chosen carries a responsibility. Independent advice, challenge where it adds value, and work built around what the organisation actually needs.
How we work
Values, as practised.
- Partnership
- We work as part of the leadership conversation, not alongside it.
- Trust
- Most of our work is confidential, and stays that way.
- Integrity
- We give the advice we would give if we were not paid for the outcome.
- Expertise
- Senior people do the work. There is no delegation layer.
- Curiosity
- We ask more questions than a brief usually contains.
- Excellence
- Fewer mandates, held to a higher standard.

Advice before appointment
We start with the business question, not the job description.

Vision and mission
What we are building.
Vision
To become the advisory partnership organisations call before a people decision is made, not after it has been set.
Mission
To translate business questions into clear people decisions, and to deliver the leadership those decisions require with evidence, discretion and senior attention on every mandate.
Partnership over transaction
Speak with a partner.
Tell us about the business question you are considering. We will tell you plainly whether we can help.
